讲座题目：Long-time dynamics of a nonlocal diffusion model with free boundary

讲座摘要：In this talk, I will report some results about reaction-diffusion equations with free boundaries. First, some background information and conclusions related to local diffusion problem will be recalled. Then a nonlocal diffusion problem with Fisher-KPP reaction function is introduced. It is shown that a "spreading-vanishing" dichotomy still holds for nonlocal dispersal free boundary problem, and the speed of spreading front is determined by a semi-wave problem, where infinite speed (accelerated spreading) is possible. For kernel functions that behave like |x|^{r} near infinity, Professor Du and me obtain better estimates of the spreading speed for both the finite speed case, and the infinite speed case.

嘉宾简介：倪文杰，2018年7月获得哈尔滨工业大学基础数学博士学位；2016/09-2018/02作为联合培养博士研究生赴美国威廉玛丽学院学习；201809-至今为澳大利亚新英格兰大学数学系博士后。在SIMA, CVPDE, Proceedings of AMS, CCM, JDE, Nonlinearity等数学期刊发表数篇文章。主要研究方向为反应扩散方程与自由边界问题解的长时间行为。
